Re: Where does a business loss go on US taxes?

From topic 453, I think it's in English... "Business Bad Debts - Generally, a business bad debt is a loss from the worthlessness of a debt that was either created or acquired in a trade or business or closely related to your trade or business when it became partly to totally worthless. A debt i...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

My indie shop apparently can't replicate the steering wheel locking up and are now saying it's a BBB Industries rack and not Cardone. Mechanic says he'll drive the car home tonight to check it again. What's the chance it was a one-time glitch? (I mean, losing power steering even *once* does seem li...

Re: 2000 S70 radiator core support replacement need help.

I found the last lost wire, loom branch, it had been lost in the jungle. plugged it in. Started perfectly instantly as though it was all warmed up and never had any problem. Thank you all so very much. Finally, the last piece of the puzzle ! Congratulations; miles of motoring pleasure on the horizon.

Re: Odometer gear

Is there a Robert DIY for replacing these? Under no circumstances should you follow the video on the ipd website. They should have taken it down years ago. Your dash pad will end up a jigsaw puzzle. The dash pad has to come all the way out of the car - carefully. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aar...

Re: 850 6 CDs charger

Were the o-rings loose inside the CD changer ? They would seem to be out of place. Another member of our little tribe was having problems with a radio with the CD player, and once he got it out og the car and shook it, some coins fell out. Maybe your o-rings are the result of some child's adventure....

Re: abs trouble

I recently went thru this experience again too, and had MattyMoo repair my once-upon-a-time repaired ABS module. He did a great job, the ABS system is working fine again -- problem solved. How did you convince him to work on your already-opened module ? He seems quite blunt on his website about not...

Volvo online parts sale + free shipping

Some - but not all - are showing both a sale and free shipping. Boston and Annapolis are in the deal, which got me around the really irritating $9.95 S&H nonsense that Annapolis has stuck on their online sales. It's bad enough that I have to pay MD sales tax when I pick stuff up at their place; ...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

Going together slightly easier than coming apart... IMGP0400.JPG Fortunately between harvesting the bones of poor Old Blue, a few things from the stash acquired from a hoarder 2 years ago, and parts on the shelf bought back in Nearly Normal times, I haven't had to buy anything more brutal than brake...
