I have similar issues with my '07 2.5T V70. Have not gotten around to troubleshooting fuel system.

Any chance injectors are to blame? Perhaps a partial blockage got freed up for those 15 miles of bliss, then clogged up again?

40k miles and 3 years on Autozone Duralast axle and they're fine. YMMV

Finally got around to upgrading to 17s (225/45/17). It does handle better, whole car feels more planted.

Installed ARD's ST1 tune and it's really nice. More power when you want it and still very smooth. Lucky has been very responsive to emails.

Now I just have to work with him to get the torque limitation in 1st and 2nd gear removed. Seems like it will be straightforward.
