Quicken..your 10 valve Volvo wasn’t sold in the US so you won’t find a lot of info apply to that engine here. It does look like the 10 valve uses a different IAC though, and all our parts places do show it no longer available

There is no harm in trying out the ethanol. Higher percentage is probably better, if you have it available. You'll know if it is working - a lot of dark crud will come out.
