Lemforder I have used had the torx but no flats. That style is easier as you can hold them with a wrench while tightening the nuts.
10 mm fastener standard torque is 35-38 lb-ft so that is a good spec you found

Re: S60 side airbag layout, need help ASAP
It is so far from that easy. The main sensor and decisions are in the control module in the center console by parking brake handle on P2 models that have this feature. The module needs CAN communication from CEM. The harness plug in your car will not fit on the one for the system that runs curtains,...

Re: Sanity Check: Evap Purge Valve Stuck Open?
The shutoff valve is there to allow tank leak detection testing. On that 98 it would only close after you drive for a qualifying period with some driving conditions met. Once you idle it can do the test and close the shutoff valve, the only reason it ever needs to close the vent line for tank. The p...

Re: Bevel Gear Adjuster Nut Leak?
I think "Barr" is a reference to stop leak products. The tabs on that end cap/adjuster are fragile so no drift and hammer use here. There is a special tool disc with 1/2 square drive and a series of roll pins drive in that engage the tabs The leak in salt country can be due to corrosion wh...

Re: Bevel Gear Adjuster Nut Leak?
Your AG doesn't look terribly crusty so you might be safe from the corrosion and the scary stuff for the adjuster removal. If you do the O ring for the adjuster then I would do the seals while the cap is out as in the car R&R of that seal is not nice as you likely already know. If you do remove ...

Re: Bevel Gear Adjuster Nut Leak?
I use screws or drill two holes and use a seal hook I have had for years. If the adjuster is removed the back side is accessible so seal could be pushed/drive out with a screwdriver. That part is threaded, the threads are in the photo. Tabs, O ring groove, threads is the order foreground to rear. Th...

Re: 2015.5 xc60 t6 random loss of all power after turning car off
Has it ever done this while the dealer had it for repair? If you repeat the problem there is a check I would do if I were working on it while it not powered up. Remove the back battery cover to access the ground (-) terminal and cable end. with car exhibiting the no electrical power check from batte...

Re: 2015.5 xc60 t6 random loss of all power after turning car off
If the internal connection goes open that means the connection is broken and there would be no voltage measured at battery terminals. WHen that happens the connection can cool off and then battery has power at terminals again.

Re: No AWD and no codes 2005 xc70
The drive over test wouldn't find a faulty AG sleeve. The AOC (Haldex made unit on front of rear diff) will have enough fluid pressure to lightly apply the drive clutch and then rear wheels would turn driveshaft. With rear wheels on ramps so you can get under car, have it in Park with key off and th...

Re: HELP Where can I buy 2000 V70R engine mounts.
FCP Euro has them listed in kits from different makers.
IPD has them as individual pieces.
