92' Volvo 240 GL Sedan, auto, for sale, SOLD
For sale is our 92' Volvo 240 GL sedan, auto, white with blue interior. The odometer shows 183k, but it has more on it due to a previously faulty odometer gear. How much more I do not know. It has some options that you don't see often in a 240, such as a factory sunroof, heated power mirrors and hea...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
I spent last week and the week before preparing Harold for a trip from Connecticut to Denver, Colorado. My kid and her boyfriend are going to spend the summer there and if they find jobs may stay for a while longer :( A bunch of stuff needed to be done: oil change, tranny drain and fill, new wiper a...

Re: 99' S70, 5-speed, Immobilizer Problem. End of the road for Matilda?
Hello Xan,
Thanks for the update, although this language is way over my head
Hey, don't you want to come to New England for a little vacation? And, oh, while you are here would you not mind to see what's wrong with Matilda?
Dirk

If you get a chance to take a photo of the offending flattened item at any point, post it so I can try to see if anything I find is not as bad. Neil. Thanks Neil, Good idea, I will have my daughter take a photo. I think it looks the worst down in the bumper area and around the taillights. That's wh...

Re: 850 Sedan trunk seal NLA, other options?
I don’t know if the trunk seal from a ‘98 S70 is similar but I have an extra one in great shape if you’re interested. The local salvage recently got the car in and I’ve been going by there and stripping parts from it. I got the trunk seal because mine has some paint overspray from repainting the tr...

If you get a chance to take a photo of the offending flattened item at any point, post it so I can try to see if anything I find is not as bad. Neil. Hi Neil, I got a photo of the gasket today. You can clearly see how flat it got, especially around the radii. It's also pretty flat where it goes alo...

Re: 06 XC70 - A strange thing happened......!
Hi Scott,
It almost sounds like the engine was a little flooded? I know that can happen to a P80 when you don't run the engine up to temp and especially when you do this a few times.
But I am not certain if that can happen to a P2 in a similar way.

Re: Do I need to pull my bumper cover off? '05 V70
You don't need to pull the bumper off, but the torx screw Neil has mentioned is better to access when you take the wheel off.

That looks like the accessory connector.
