Re: It's time to start bulking up on 850s
This is something I worked on several years ago - a custom cold air intake for my 850 Turbo. I built the original input model in cardboard to verify fit, then a nicer one out of black foamcore, then built it digitally in Rhino. I even made a presentation panel for it. I haven't messed with it in yea...

Re: New to me 240
Welcome to 240 world. This one looks like my 1987 240 from about 50 feet. I drove 240s for about 20 years. Odometer problem is likely a broken gear in the dash. Does the speedometer work? Dash lights all replace from the back side of dash. Dash remove out the front easily. Transmissions are very rob...

Re: New Englanders need anything between here and NC?

I am still looking for a hood and trunk lid for my nautic blue S70, but I don't think I can ask you to bring one back for me :o That's exactly the kind of thing I'm offering to transport: stuff which is too hard to ship. I've g...

Re: BaT Megathread
But to get back to your question, wheel shops not only make wheels wider (or narrower I'm sure), but they also make them larger, like a 16-inch into a 17 or 18-inch wheel.

Re: BaT Megathread
Over the last few years, I've found that that has gone from a common practice amongst rodders and wheel shops, to very rare. Hard to find a wheel shop who will do this now - maybe lack of demand, maybe liability. 1 - You can either "band" them, meaning the barrel is cut in two halves and t...
