2004 V70 CV Axle | WHICH ONE??

Hey guys.... I just called the local driveshaft shop and they want $70 to rebuild the original CV Axles. The boots split on my axles and they are leaking and "clicking" They also said there is a 50/50 chance they wont be able to rebuild them. I see some options on Rock Auto: EMPI/Surtrack/...

2004 V70 low beam bulbs not working

I went to the car wash last night and sprayed under the hood. On the way home I noticed the "low beam bulb failure" light on. Neither of the headlights are on. I havent checked the bulbs but I'm about 99% sure they are OK. I've never had a problem with them before this. I'm guessing I got ...

Yes, they are Xenon... Aside from connectors what else can I check or test? Thanks

After goog'ling I see that there is a fuse inside the car for the Xenon headlights. I guess I'll check that. Does this car have a "shunt" or not?

Well, I ended up troubleshooting this today using info I found below. I had no power to the steering control module due to a blown fuse. Fuse #5 in the dash near the door protects the vacuum pump and speed sensitive steering. My vacuum pump is on the fritz and this is what I believe caused it. :D ht...
