When you remove the switch though, I believe it closes those contacts.
To nail this you need the 1995 version of this system.

Yeah , even Dr Brothers have their limitations. No crank is ignition switch, wiring , or clutch switch on the M56 Go find the remote starter bypass and confirm your battery , starter, and main cables are all sound Chock it, triple check in neutral, and parking brake firmly on when you use the bypass

Yes, that’s a faulty switch. It is not reliably closing the contacts when in the On position

If you have the straight water pipe, heads out to rear of engine, left side of car, you need part number 6842428 or equivalent
If your water pipe connection angles forward to front of car, you need part 9470409 or equivalent

You can also bleed a caliper by cracking the brake hose
It’s messy , but it works. A large mixing tray from Lowe’s will catch all the brake fluid, about. $10

As long as the cam didn’t move, yes
The cam tolerance for position is only about one tooth. More than that, the VVT will give a cam flank angle error code.
