I sweated the same problem on the T5 and had to remove the rack to get that coupler off. It really rusts on. Chance of damaging the rack is really high with chisels and other 'methods'

Window tint and Scorpions are two ways the Creator tells us not to live somewhere.

It’s a vacuum sensor for the power brake system. You can glue it back together or get a new one here at FCP

I think it’s a new design, but check fitment

Did the replacement parts match the originals exactly? On P80s , there were two flavors of steering rack which required different tie rod ends. Not sure about P2s

You don’t need to remove or block the time belt , Manov. I would leave the SERP belt on and use an impact to remove the three M6 bolts, then remove the SERP belt and the harmonic balancer

Oops. Made mistake. You need to remove the 30mm crank nut , too.

Manov, you can put two long M6 bolts into the harmonic balancer holes and then counter hold with a stick or a long breaker bar
