Re: V70R drivetrain clanking noise - front CV axles and LCA bushings already replaced

Prior to that, there was a whine/noise from the front that varied with road speed and that I thought was related to the carrier bearing going bad on the right front CV axle. Well, I replaced the right front CV axle and still had t...

Re: 850 Accessorie belt
Volvo does parts by engine number, not Vin number, Manov.

Re: Brake Caliper Rebuild?
There is a lot of junk out there. Remember, the cores will all say Volvo on them, but they arent the same as OE Volvo.Remanufactured calipers can be had for a reasonable price.
The rebuilds almost universally use pot metal for pistons, slides. My record was 18 months for a rebuilt to freeze up

Re: Engine skips after timing belt replacement
Do a compression test to rule out valve damage.
Can you describe what “ skipping “ means?
