Re: 99-98 Ignition conversion from CDI to distributor

That should work ok. There are minor things that you will have to bring over from the 98 block but nothing that isnt fixable in place. Re: 98 V70XC saved from the crusher

The big worry on the P80 AWD cars is..... can you get the rear axle carrier to drop without it disintegrating into pieces? Niel warned me about this with the Kat, my 99 AWD, but I dodged a bullet there.

I did just pick up a nice 1999 S70 AWD with VA and CA heritage and the rear axle is pristine.

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?

I will keep that in mind, thank you very much. That project is scheduled to start in the spring. One of the first things I need to rebuild is the entire throttle linkage system, which is worn out/ seized. If you have good parts for that I would like to talk to you at some point. But there will be a...

Re: Cooling Fan Relay Easy Replacement w/pics

I don’t think any of those connectors will go onto the “ wrong place” , Bishop.

After I get a coffee I’ll take a picture of my 99, should be the same. It’s only 0545 here!

Re: Volvo Findings! (What have you found on Craigslist?)

It wasn’t quite Dirk pricing but my newest auction s70 was incrementally more $ for a lot less work

Took a bit of a chance and drove it 600 miles / $400 expensable back from DC to home on a business trip

It’s easy to get skipped over in this chat thread.

Try ATP 205 if your PS system is seeping. If you are getting drips of fluid, it won’t help
