Re: 1997 S70 'Red' Turbo Vacuum Line
The red compressor hose is a tough one to get on with the snorkel in place. Get the air box out to get room, snorkel off, move slowly and carefully to avoid breaking stuff. You can splice in broken crankcase ventilation stuff on a -1998 , no need to buy new.

I think it’s 46 teeth I the cam pulley, so that’s about 8 degrees per tooth. So, one tooth

Timing belt replacement without pulling the crank pulley is doable for -1998 cars but with the RN block I’m convinced you have to torture the belt to get that in. Open up that cap and rotor and inspect for moisture and ice - if you get stuff up in there it behaves badly. While you are fiddling with those cap and rotor screws you can self-flagellate yourself for not buying a 1999 with coil on plugs and a sexy Italian throttle body.
