The oil pressure switch is NC and is opened by oil pressure, so it should so continuity to ground with engine off, and open circuit with oil pressure of something like 0.25 bar

There are variants

-1998 and 1999-

If you look in the 1999 manual it has the wrong one, the 2000 manual is correct

Give it a nice hot run before you put it away to get the water out of the oil. It won’t go bad sitting

I’ve been cleaning off my pins from my REM on my 2005 it’s whole life, 10 years now. Every 18 months, they get a grey corrosion amd the rear Tail lights go out

The fan is critical for AC operation as it pulls the heat from the condensor. It will chamge the low and high pressure AC readings drastically.

I miss JRL and his gentle way of putting things right in Volvo land.
