It’s fine. You don’t want the gasket to impinge on the clear aperture of the throttle body, it just has to stop side leakage

That is going to melt that plastic Bumper Chieber - I would steal a cm or two at each joint and add exhuast putty on each joint to keep them in place. If you 2 cm overlap that should work ok.

What code reader are you using? If the CEL is on, there are codes present, but they could be TCM codes which trigger the CEL. The beauty of that folding one is it is long enough to get good torque to crack a nut, then you fold it to palm size and zip it off with no swing space needed.
