Ive dunked my Nissan 4HP four times into salt water - once had to retrieve it in 10 feet by diving, attaching and winching it up.

A very good friend of mine had the electrical connector pop off and scramble the wires on a 1999 NA car - can anyone find the thread where we documented the position of the wires ??

You will often find voltage at the load side of a disconnected fuse because of cross feed from loads with ballast resistors , diodes, etc on other circuits. If the fuse is blowing, you have a short or a failed component. Disconnect the component and that leaves the wiring. Often shorts are intermitt...

Have a look at the caliper slide pins and make sure the calipers arent getting stuck.
