Why not try swapping #1 and #2 coils and see if the issue moves. It may not be the coil, but this would help identify if it is and if it is worth spending money on a used coil.

Where are the cam seals? I thought they were either behind the timing belt gears/pulleys, or on the opposite end of that shaft and rather accessible.

I pull the red tab loose or out and then reach through the metal cutout hole to push the latching hook down. That piece of plastic on the outside of the speaker is almost useless for getting the hook on the other side of the speaker to move. You just have to feel where to push while reaching through...

I went and redid the job. It seems like whatever coating that came on the spark plugs just messed them up. Took them all out and cleaned the crap off and what I could in get to in the motor. Put them all back and it was fine again. No codes still atm.
