Just wanted to give an update on this... finally flashed an M4.4 ECU and ran it. Initially got DTC for the baro sensor, so I disabled it and re-flashed. I have one remaining DTC and it is P1308 - A/C Clutch circuit fault. My A/C system is currently empty (no refrigerant) but the compressor is still ...

Problem solved - it was the VM running VIDA as it didn't recognize the redirected USB port. Fortunately, had a working backup of the VM.
