Re: Unknown part with disconnected hose

It looks like the hose attached to the device in the second photo is near to failure. The hose diameter change at the end of the hose nipple is showing failure cracks. It would be good to replace now before it fails. Soap Box Rant Alert! Everyone attempting to service a modern vehicle should period...

How did you come up with the polishing mixture? volvolugnut I have been doing detailing for a very long time and paint correction was something I loved doing. The orange hand cleaner idea was told to me from an old t...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

Made heaps of progress today. While investigating my AC line vacuum leak I narrowed part of it down to the Schrader valve. I replaced the valve with a new one but did not have the proper tool to tighten it. Went to homedepot to buy the proper tool today but quickly discovered it was too small to eng...

Re: The first car to drive itself may surprise you!

I remember the era of disappearing headlights with vacuum driven covers , all of which froze up in winter so you couldn’t use the car at night. Re: FDPP #2

It went from Columbus, Ohio, to Toledo, Ohio, and now it's in Detroit, Michigan??? Was the scenic route included in the shipping? I know people make mistakes, and if that's the only one to happen this week then I'm ok with it. My fiance is having surgery tomorrow morning, and I'm really hopi...

Re: Cancer/illnesses, and caregiver, support thread

I lost a friend from high school to non-hogkins lymphoma when he was only 21. My aunt passed away from breast cancer, my grandma from colon cancer, and my uncle from testicular cancer (he was 53). I took care of my grandma, and my uncle, all the way to the end. There's nothing worse, that I've seen,...
