Re: What did you do on your P1 Volvo today?
Well, about a week ago I went back to this car as I found a car in the junkyard last week with a suitable older style (it was an 06 S40 auto) oil cooler hose. It is the rubber version with the fiber covering. It looks so much more substantial than the plastic crap they use these days. Anyway, I went...

I'm working on a new sticker, a real Class A Banger
and you're going to want dozens of these, but I'll be forced to cap each buyer at 20. You've been warned.

Re: What did you do on your P1 Volvo today?
My buddy texted me earlier to say he has spoken to the previous owner and she is over the moon happy that the car is fixed and she has been offered it back. It will be returned with the brakes fixed as well as the trans flush and pipe. The alignment will also be checked to ensure the bald areas on t...

ko.jpg The beautiful and luxurious "Estate Wagon". I'd guess 1974. The large Mormon family next door had one in my childhood with three rows of seating (facing forward) and the infamous clamshell tailgate. It was the wagon version of the "Electra" which evolved from the Buick 22...

Re: (Psuedo) Random photos of Volvos Megathread
Yea it's like a pre-WWII aircraft hangar or something. Fighter sized, not transport or bomber size. Something like that would be amazing to own, but expensive to heat in the winter. Goodness.volvolugnut wrote: ↑16 Feb 2026, 16:00I really like the roof beams. And the Volvos are nice too.

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
Well finally one of the 2 double din radio head unit bezels arrived from Ali-Express. Naturally the package was crushed. Good news was the main surround was not damaged, put there is a thin inner bezel surround to fill the gap between the head unit and the main bezel was bent. Hopefully a bit of hea...

Re: The biggest car heist in history: How 1,000 Volvos went missing. Volvo 144
That's a crazy story and I'm a longtime fan of it. In the 70s my dad loaned a John Deere scraper or two to Czechloslovakia and they never returned them or paid for them, but the Volvo thing is far worse.
