My speaker adapters came in today. I held one over the existing mounting points and the holes in the adapters line up perfectly. Very pleased. Now I'll buy some 5 1/4 inch speakers to go with them and install them.

It also could be a broken timing belt. If it is broken, which you can determine by removing the front half of the timing belt cover, the valves will NOT be damaged. You just have to realign the timing marks and put the new belt on. A manual is very helpful but you can probably find a video online to...

It looks like someone modified the original double DIN opening to accept a single DIN radio with a single DIN tray either above or below the radio. One more thing, if you buy a used Volvo radio like the SC-810, be sure that the seller can provide you with the factory code for the radio; otherwise it will be useless to you. When you power it on it will say "CODE" on the display and will not do anything else until the numeric code is en...

Nice wiring diagram. Thanks for sharing. I have some diagrams for 1994 960 that I downloaded from volvotips.com but they are not nearly as descriptive as to what the wires are connecting to, as this diagram is. I wish I had the entire set of wiring diagrams like this for my Volvo. (again a 1994 960)
