Re: Picking a 2004 C70 Conv, what parts to get?

clarkerussell wrote: 17 Jun 2020, 16:10 are there any other choice pieces I should be looking for?
Get the subframe brace from under the car and install it on your S70. It will stiffed the S70 up.
If you don't want it some 850 owner will.

Re: Volvo 850 vs 70 series dash interchangeable?

And 98-00 doors will fit on an 850 but you don't get full electronics functionality without also swapping over the x70 dash harness into the 850, or doing some careful re-wiring.

Re: Interchangeable parts from v70 to 97 850 sedan?

Wiring is different too, because power windows switches are in the door cards on s,v70. Blower motor is the same....gloveb...

Re: Code P0410 - Did the SAS Delete but Code Persists

Just a quick update on the ECU fix. Done and dusted. Took ... 15-20 minutes beginning to end. Just copied Chuck's image. I did notice Robert unplugged the pump when he reinstalled the ECU but I figured it is dead anyway so left it. Cleared codes and ran it and checked it again and all good. Oddly, n...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

It’s the worst. I literally haven’t done that even though I started changing my own oil when I was 16. How are these places still in business?

Today I fixed a loose rear-view mirror and washed the T5 for the first time. Not bad!

Re: 850 rear bumper bracket bolts

I've been using these rivets for my cars. Regular ones work, but the plastic-coated ones are nice. EBAY LINK Wish I'd seen this a few days ago! Those are very close to original if not the same, and are a good price. I need to do a bunch of riveting across the P80 fleet this fall, bought these they ...

Re: Volvo 850 12v Outlet

Remove the Cigarette outlet and replace it with a Accessory outlet. There are two different standards.
