Re: AC turns on 1 sec then off. Full charge
I am thrilled to announce that this will not be a dead end thread! It turns out my high pressure sensor was bad. Took 1 minute to replace. From my research this is an uncommon failure, but I was able to troubleshoot it via multimeter as my last few posts stated.

I think I've found the issue, my M4.4 ECU is from a NA version. From what I've read it seems like the M4.4 should be from a Turbo version Do you think that matters? It absolutely matters. The NA ECUs don't have the components populated on the board for the TCV control. Just two 0 Ohm 0805 resistor ...

I got a 1997 850 R today

The last 64k can be read like M4.3.
32k-64k in first half is possible with higher voltage.
First 0-32k require short circuiting an address line and reading 32k-64k.
So not very practical or safe, but not totally impossible.
