Re: What do you think?

FCPeuro.com! Forum sponsor (at least I'm pretty sure they still are) and they have the best customer service out there. Price and selection are both great as well.

Re: E Hand brake repairs

Yes, the e-brake is a shoe-type setup. It's probably a good idea to go ahead and replace them like you said, that way you don't have to worry about them again. As for the e-brake holding, you'll want to make adjustments at the adjusters on the shoes, then tighten up the cable at the handle in the ca...

Re: Volvo Findings! (What have you found on Craigslist?)

Sucks it didn't turn out as nice as it looks, but good to know it's still a solid car. Keep your eyes out, you'll find a nice one soon!

Re: S60 steering wheel installation in an S70

This means the spline count (the teeth mount) on 98 SV70 is same as 05 s60. Do you know if spline count is same as 95 960? I like that steering wheel a lot. Yup, the 960 uses the same splines as the P80 and P2. A 960/S90/V90 steering wheel is a direct swap into your V70 if that's what you're asking...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

That's always a possibility too. Fortunately I don't deal with a lot of rusty cars, and I haven't had an issue with snapping a subframe bolt yet.

Re: Engine died while driving and won't start.

You'll want to spray it in the throttle body itself, just remove the hose that goes into it from the intercooler outlet.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

Dropped the engine and trans back in yesterday, now today I'll get everything back together and hopefully have it running by the end of the day. Maybe I'll also get to putting the new speakers in my 940 and reflashing the ECU on my dad's X3... lots to do!

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

https://www.volvopartswebstore.com/images/parts/Volvo/parts/fullsize/GR-77170_1.png On my 98 V70GLT I replaced 2 of the vacuum hoses to the turbo, the ones on top, how do I get to the one on the bottom?? It comes from the solenoid (?) beside the air box. Try removing the air box and intake elbow, y...

Re: How to determine a fair asking price 1995 850GLT?

List it as is for $500 or best offer, or get it running and driving and list it for $1k. These cars really aren't worth a lot, and it really depends on condition and mileage. You could probably get it sold fairly quickly for $500 to someone looking for a project or a flip, but anything more, at leas...

Re: How to determine a fair asking price 1995 850GLT?

I think that's reasonable considering the fact that it can't be driven, she should be able to sell it fairly easily.
