I'm more than happy to see it go to a good home where it will live on as a daily driver, exactl...

Re: Immobilizer question
Just scanned over the thread a bit, and while I may have missed some key details, what I gather is that you're having the starting issue that you stated in the OP, requiring a reset of that 15A fuse (or the battery possibly) before the car will start. I had strange electrical issues, as abscate post...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
So when you say " tucked ", do you mean that you mount the fan to the inside of the shroud instead of where it normally sits ( bolted to the outside ) ? If so, does that improve the cooling ? Correct. It's mostly for space savings, I'm not sure if there is any difference in cooling abilit...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
I believe that is the correct orientation, yes.
There is big combo of washers and o rings to install these, along with those yellow clips. I always bypass that junction box anyway, so they never go back in. The box is too fragile to not replace. I've broken most of them that I've messed with.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Find a random dumpster around town. Works every time! ...in all seriousness though, most places would probably prefer that it's been deployed. I can understand why you wouldn't want to do that though, I wouldn't either. I believe some scrap yards accept them as hazardous materials, but that depends ...
