Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
It may be a pain to clean up spills, but the effort is worth it to prevent environmental contamination. I took care of any spills from it, fortunately my bed liner mostly contained it. I ran to Walmart around the block to grab some cat litter to soak it all up. Two bags barely covered what was left...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
'04 V70 LH low beam burned out. Bulb connector toast. Green wire terminal still OK. Black wire terminal not OK. Crimped on an insulated spade connector. Connected both to new bulb, Hella H7LL. Ordered a high heat connector from RockAuto. Any suggestions on bulbs that produce less heat and won't tri...

Re: Finally... P80 AWD Delta Link Rear Suspension Swap
Hi everyone... Maybe this is a stupid question but whatever.. I already put off the central shaft as it was vibrating in turns, but is it p...

Re: Finally... P80 AWD Delta Link Rear Suspension Swap

Re: Finally... P80 AWD Delta Link Rear Suspension Swap
If it wasn't for the fuel tank nonsense and the lack of actual support for the AWD suspension stuff, I wouldn't mind having that instead of the Delta link set-up. I mean I do custom stuff all of the time for my cars anyway, but I have other projects to direct that energy towards. ( I would REALLY l...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Replaced the turbo oil drain o ring and gasket today for the... probably 3rd-4th time lol. I noticed it very lightly leaking over the back of the block when I was checking some other stuff last week, so I figured I'd knock it out before the leak got worse. I had the parts in stock already, so that m...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
The only Rotella T6 oil we seem to get is Diesel engine 5W40. I thought you were not supposed to used diesel oil in gas engines due to a different make up. Am I totally wrong on that? From what I have read, Shell techs say it can damage catalytic converters. Neil. People have been using the T6 for ...
