This morning, I decided to clean the ETM from my ‘99 V70 XC parts car in the hope that it will work in the ‘00 V70.

Only after Abscate so graciously offered one he had on hand, did it dawn on me that I had harvested it from the V70 with a busted flywheel. Fingers crossed!

I got a new set of headlight assemblies for the XC90, which really spiffs up the front end. I had hoped to get them before our first family ski trip, but of course only one arrived in time.

That's my concern. If it happened once, it can happen again. Sheesh.

I went to start up the T5 this morning and got a bunch of crank, no-start results. Then, it was start, sputter and stall.

Moved to Blue Steel, and the same thing happened but finally starting after the fifth try or so. It was about 27 degrees F.

Good to hear everyone in your tribe is all right! That looks a lot like a city I've been to once or twice.

I also wonder why I do such things. If you figure it out, please let me know!

Finally had a chance to try out the HFT tire changer to replace the new tire I gouged a hole into while pulling over for an emergency vehicle. It took a little finagling and got the tire half off before I ran out of daylight. I sure hope the other Goodyears I bought on sale will go on easily. Also b...
