Those temps I would guess you have one stuck caliper with no braking action.

150-180 disc temps is pretty normal

You can build that hole back with JB weld , non quickset. Plug it up, then after it is set , drill the hole back through using the other side to Line it up. I’ve got an off set of Pagid pads I can send you

Use a Dremel to clean up the threads, and attach the line loosely before you bolt the caliper on. It’s much easier to thread when you can offer the caliper up to the thread at varying angles I’ve found.

Do you possibly have an air leak? I have not heard of the MAF causing this sort of issue (doesn't mean it can't), they either are variable or dead, not heard of one causing a rapid rise in revs. Being a non-turbo and manual, there are limited options that I can think of that might cause this issue. ...
