Re: Engine quit while driving!

I suspect you have low battery voltage that has caused a cascade of codes to show. These cars DO NOT like low battery voltage. It messes with the computers. Check your battery terminals for corrosion and tightness. Charge the battery FULLY and try a restart.

You can put a check mark for problem solved so when other look for an engine quitting issue they will ...

Re: Oil filter relocation 2004 xc70

I would ask myself how much money and time I am willing to invest into this project. Then I would look at odometer and question myself how many more miles I will be able to get out of this car prior to it draining all my savings in repairs. Then estimate number of oil changes at 3-4k interval that t...

Re: Oil filter relocation 2004 xc70

If you are too old and lose interest, best is to find a local shop and bring the oil filter and oil. Win win situation...you don't have to do it, the mechanic makes some $ to feed his hungry family.

Re: Oil filter relocation 2004 xc70

. Have been extracting motor oil, transmission fluid and master cylinder brake fluids since 2019. Upgraded to an 8L unit so do not have to pour out during an oil change. Unit doesn’t extract well if it’s too full. Not having to drain the motor oil and pouring it into a container then cleaning the dr...
