Re: 2008 S60 2.5T are these good?
All of my ladies had to graduate from the Bittenbinder 'Tough Target' school before mission real world launch. Well, all of them except Caitlin. That's because she is 6 foot and 180 pounds of lean defender muscle and can snap my back like a twig. It's a really really bad financial time to buy a new ...

Re: 2008 S60 2.5T are these good?
Thats a good book for both Junior and Juniorette - anyone under 25. College kids today don't really leave the nest the way we did, they take a little longer. They make there way, its just a longer process. Just like our parents we wonder what the world is coming to, but this generation is the greate...

Re: 2008 S60 2.5T are these good?
Sounds like a good dealer, and as you have probably been keeping them in profit for many years with your Volvos, it should be a good car. We have our son driving my wife's old 06 XC70 to/from University in Calgary here pretty much on a daily basis for the last 4 years. He feels safe and secure in th...

Re: 2008 S60 2.5T are these good?
I wanted to drive up to Savannah but Mike felt it would be too dangerous since people around here can't drive in snowy conditions You might have the brains for the gas tank, but on this one, Mike is indeed samurai. Its pretty brutal watching even Washington DC in one inch of snow. I managed to pick...

Re: What did you think of the December MVS newsletter?
mvs-newsletter-dec-2017.png Love? Hate? Indifferent? I really appreciate all your hard work. Sometimes I missed something and catch it in the newsletter. I really laughed a few months ago when I got quoted with my theory on a car gas petal goes to the floor. So definitely I love the newsletter! Kee...

Re: 2007 XC70: think I need a new battery. How do you test/where do you buy replacements?
Nonsense. They are made with love that one can only taste in Swedish meatballs wrapped in bacon

Re: Moisture in headlights
Had this years ago on the S60. Removed the plastic trim piece that runs on top of the seam between the glass and the housing, and put some outdoors silicone all along this seam. Stayed clear ever since.

Re: Moisture in headlights
How do you change the gaskets? Remove the headlight assembly, Remove clips, Replace seal or make one out of clear Silicone RTV as Oragex did, reassemble. The Volvo replacement for the gasket is Butyl tape. Volvo Part number 1161782. The RTV would work just as well. Clean and dry well before reassem...
