Re: Prolonged discussion of Shihab's 1995 850 with Motronic ??? and the rare heated third seat in Nautic Blue

It was a range of products (Heinz 57 varieties).

3rd row seat heating is a long standing (sitting?) in joke on MVS. It has never existed (or did it, like a Yeti or Big Foot?).

Re: I'm going Volvoing, first stop Arkansas

If you come in from the south into Colorado, here's a short list of things to do which I highly recommend if you haven't done any of these before. Engines and transmissions are made to be run continuously. Doing short trips kills them or at least degrades them. So yeah we should be vacationing them more often :-)

And walking more, to save ourselves if nothing else.

Re: I'm going Volvoing, first stop Arkansas

Judging by the feel of the car, a road trip is good for the engine. My S80 is normally Lincoln Town car smooth but since I did the initial 17 hour straight drive I feel a noticeable difference in the car that I can only describe as dead smooth. Maybe we should all be vacationing in our Volvos more ...

Re: I'm going Volvoing, first stop Arkansas

You want to find old cars in good condition, Arizona is the place to go. The low humidity out there preserves them pretty well. My dad had a 1960 Edsel Ranger and a couple of Hudson Hornets. My older brother use to borrow a Hudson every Friday night then drove his '57 Chevy on Saturday night. Dad fi...

Re: Volvo Brake Line

If you're still looking for the brake line, try:

http://www.autodisassemblyvolvo.com/parts.html
(More likely to have used)

http://voluparts.com/
(More likely to have new)

Either place can ship to you.
