I think the 99 R rear brakes are easier to find than the unicorn 2000 R system. There is a chassis break on the 99 to watch out

Not sure you can swap 99 brakes over to a 2000 R. The mounting points are different. You might have to swap the whole hub assembly over. I did detail how you can swap the brakes from a P2 over from info Volvo gave me a while back (4-6 years ago?).
