you will loose about 3/4 of a quart. and it is not necessary to change the oil again. just drain the filter reseat the oring and filter start it up count to 4 and shut it off and check it and top off. ad a drop or two to the o ring to help seat it once it is on the filter. push the filter down all t...

Clean container.
Drop oil filter housing, catch oil
reseat, reinstall.
Put oil back in
Drive 5-10 miles
Check dipstick and top off if needed.
