I'm looking for opinions on older volvo's. I'd like to pick up another older one, but I don't necessarily want to limit my options to another 240 (I have one I have restored) My main concerns are "wrenchability" and availability of parts. ie relatively easy, and lots.... I'd like a wagon,...

Does the fan come on at all? Ever? I'd check that. My 850 overheated when the module / relay piece on the back of the radiator failed, and the fans never came on.

Re: Best way to get wiring from front to trunk

On my wagon I ran a beefy wire for trailer lights from the battery to the way back trunk. A connector and fuse at the battery terminal, then down the firewall and along the bottom until a grommet in the trunk. I zip-tied it every so many inches to other lines or pipes so it can’t move or shake.

2004 P2 Instrument Housing FREE

To a good home. Seriously, if anyone has a use or need for this, I'll send it to you with some help on shipping cost. I sent my instrument cluster circuit board (DIM) to Xemodex to rebuild. They sent me back a complete cluster and housing, so now I have the old one. Excellent condition, no scratches...
