850 wagon base, turn, hazards and high beam blows fuse
I bought this 96' 850 wagon a few weeks ago, my daughter just started driving and thought it would be perfect. It had "the water fell outta the engine" problem per the owner, when it jump started, I offered $300 and it was sold, patched it together and drove it home to Northern California ...

Another good possibility, there is no hitch now but I'll crawl under it later today to look for remnants- I used to do installs dunno know why I didn't check that already

I took all four corners out, unplugged the hazard flasher and fuse blew instantly, I'll check the roof wiring (didn't know about their running above) but was thinking its in the column at the turn indicators high beam switch btw, no sign of hitch, thanks again very much for the help - on a separate ...

Thanks for the feedback ,,, no click, just lights on dash and headlights go out when in start mode then come back on I understood the white connection under the fuse box was a starter bypass - another blogger had used this for 2 years supposedly - guess I'll check the V90 and see if it lights up whe...

I pulled the starter relay, probed and found one hot lead, then I tried the balance of the probes and there was nothing. I then swapped the relays and had the same result. I put a jumper wire from the small connector on the solenoid to the white empty lead that I've read is the PnP bypass. Nothing.....

Agreed, it is hot on the wagon when in start position but on the sedan it's definitely not.. both are automatic transmissions
I grabbed center console relays while at pick n pull, the diagram shows it being the location of the security alarm system relay - I'll try that tonight

Guess What, ... Aftermarket alarm system found..!!
Will uninstall this weekend, I'm sure this is my problem... Also key fob batteries seem to be dead, with all the battery swapping, disconnecting and finally new battery and alternator.... I'm sure it's in protect mode - will keep you posted
