Re: Turbo flange and down pipe?
Flanges are all the same diameter and bolt pattern at the exhaust manifold, the only difference is angled, straight or conical on the downpipe side. Conical is smaller diameter on the downpipe, too. They are all interchangeable otherwise. Conical outlet flange: All 94-95 850 turbos Straight outlet f...

Re: Turbo flange and down pipe?
Yep, looks like you are talking about a 2000 T5 downpipe (angled flange and downpipe) fits your 2000 GLT's existing flange, yes. But a 98 T5 downpipe has a straight flange, you would have to grab the flange from the 98 T5 in addition to the 98 downpipe. The straight flange would then bolt right up t...

Re: 13t boost questions
Cool! Good looking V70. You can adjust the wastegate for different behavior. What it does is change the RPM range when boost is available, not the amount of boost. It's a misconception that it'll increase or decrease boost pressure itself. Volvo Wastegate Adjustment, A Closer Look - theory Wastegate...

Re: 13t boost questions
Definitely correct. All 97-98 LPT are 4.4. That's why you want to get a matched 4.4 if you drop in an HPT ECU.Gmstewart22 wrote: ↑15 Apr 2019, 00:57 I'm pretty sure I have the Bosch motronic 4.4 engine management system already in that car. I looked up the info off the cars vin number.

Re: 13t boost questions
So while we are on the topic of turbos.. is it another misconception that by installing a downpipe hou can increase boost pressure? Iv heard that it allows the turbine to spin faster this creating more boost. A bigger downpipecan decrease backpressure from the exhaust, and let gases flow more freel...

Re: 13t boost questions
I see thanks for the information. I really like the quick spool of the 13 on the lpt cars but they just lack a little on the top end. If I could only get a 16T to spool like a 13T or 13G. The only option is to do a sequential setup small turbo for the bottom end big turbo for the top😁 There's alway...
