88' 240 arrrow light Topic is solved

hi. the arrow light on my automatic 88' 240 keeps coming on frequently and stays on. it won't even go off when i press the small button on the side of my gear shift, but eventually will go off by itself after some period of time, then comes right back on again after a little bit. what's this arrow light trying to tell me? anything serious?
