Ringing noise from front engine area when driving XC-70 AWD Topic is solved

We recently bought a 2000 XC-70 AWD wagon with 57,000 miles from a local Jeep-Subaru dealer. I got 60 day/2,500 mile warranty. I notice a continuous "ringing" noise when driving with windows down, especially noticable when passing walls or Jersey barriers. Not sure if favors left side or right side, maybe left. Any ideas?

Wheel bearings, or front axle maybe? Maybe raise the front end and spin the wheels and listen for any grinding noises and try to locate it.
