S70 ABS

The ABS warning light in my 1997 S70 has started to come on intermittently. Sometimes it stays on after starting and sometimes it comes on after a few minutes of driving. I showed it to a local repair shop with experience in servicing Volvos. They first suspected it was the sensor, but the light came on with the new sensor as well. Then they said there was some loose contact and seemed to be able to fix it. But within a couple of days, it started again. They say it could be the ABS computer, but it costs A$1100 to replace. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

You need to find a new shop that knows their Volvo's better. I can be 99% positive that you simply need a rebuilt ABS module and it costs $125, not $1100. This is the man to do the job.
