At the risk of sounding ignorant, has anyone heard of how often this should happen?
My brother is a mechanic and he says it should be changed every 40K's.
Im guessing it would make a differance, but I thought Id post this question and see what you all have heard.
Anyone know how much it would extend the life of the PS?

Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.
Also -> Amazon link. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

I change power steering AND brake fluid on a yearly basis...for me that is about every 15K miles. Most folks would say that is overkill, and I would probably agree. The reason I do it so often is that it is extremely inexpensive to do (if you do it yourself), it is fun to roll around under a car, and it only takes me about an hour to do (maybe two beers sipped).
