Can any one tell me if the passenger air bag can be changed with out removing the complete dash board? If so, how do you go about changing it?Mine was inflated in an accident and I wish to have it replaced. Thanks for your timely response.

Doesn't the dash have to be replaced when the passenger airbag goes off? I thought that when that bag inflates, it breaks through the front-lower section passenger side dash.

I was trying to avoid that because it looks look a headache to remove the dash. Maybe a piece could be fitted into the area where the bag has been inflated? Any further thoughts?

I'm not really sure how you can replace it. You can see part of it under the glove box and on the right side of the dash when you open the door (the plastic cover can be removed on that side).
