i currently have 152K on a 93 850. i bought the car over 20K miles ago and while reading this site, i've noticed i'm due for a t-belt replacement. for the life of me searching here, volvospeed and google, i can't find the difference with the 131034 or 131035 timing belt. there isn't a serial number on the timing belt cover and i can't find the one on the backside of the block. are the 2 t-belts different enough where i could order both and replace the more similiar one? anyones input is appreciated.

Timing Belt question for 93 850 Topic is solved
The T belt on a'93 is different from later 850s . It has a shorter change period I think 50K unlike the later 850s at 70K. At the mileage you have the hydraulic tensioner and idler pulley should also be changed. copy and paste the following link http://www.babcox.com/editorial/ic/ic60326.htm

the diff is the width of the belts. The wider one having the longer life. With practice the belt can be changed in about 20 min.

I'd recommend changing the water pump and idler pulleys every other timing belt change. The hydraulic tensioner usually does not require changing. You'll need a T45 bit for one of the idlers.
20 minutes? That's fast.
I bought my parts from fcpgroton.com.
Here's a good routine for changing the belt.
