Thumping noise coming from accelerator region - 1993 850 GLT Topic is solved

I own a 1993 Volvo 850 GLT. Recently, when I press on the accelerator, there is a brief but noticeable "thump". The "thump" noise sounds like it comes from the same area where the accelerator is located. Does anyone else have this problem and if so, what is the nature of the problem?

Most likely it is the upper engine mount.

Hmm....interesting, but I don't think so as my upper engine mount was just replaced a few months ago. Any other suggestions out there?
