Asking Price for '92 740 Turbo wagon Topic is solved

The last response to one of my questions made me curious. What do you think a '92 740 Turbo wagon, fully loaded, dark gray leather interior, with only 107K miles should go for? It's been well maintained & I'm getting all the records from the one owner. I'm paying less than the blue book or the NADA. ($5K) It's such a nice car that I think it's worth it. What do you think?

A 1992 740 Turbo wagon in the condition you indicate for less than $5,000 is a good deal. I have 2 700 series Volvo's and they are great cars

I agree, but would still haggle. (That's my nature-I'd nickel and dime you out of a .03-cent piece, if I could).

For comparison, there are friends of mine who recently paid about $4K for their 92 745T, but it had 113K on the clock, and has some body wear, dirty engine compartment, fewer records, etc.
