v70 intermittent power loss

Post by nash »

The last month or so I've noticed a problem on my 140,000 mile 2000 v70 glt. I start the car in the garage fine, and drive approx. 40- 50 mph about 3 miles to I-5. Once I get on the highway and accelerate slowly up to 75 mph, around the time I start backing off and put it it cruise control, the car misses several times for a few seconds and then runs fine??? It happens the same place every morning. In Sacramento, sea level, great mileage and performance, just this burp or two after leveling off at 75 mph??? Any ideas. Well maintained, new oil often, new fuel filter at 100k.

Thanks.

Do you have an airpump? If so IT would be shutting down after a couple of minutes of running and possible the engine is not up to running temperature.
