Mystery dash switch? Topic is solved

Can anyone tell me what this dashboard switch does? I can't find it anywhere in the manual. It has the outline of a car on it with like waves coming down from the roof, it also has a light included and is located next to the reset button of the info centre. Thanks Pete.

The light within the switch comes on, but I can see no other effect.

Ok, Mine doesnt have this switch, & its not mentioned in my handbook on other specs, so I dunno

does your car have a sunnroof? or perhaps a sun roof visor?

what year & spec is it?

just thinking that perhaps the picture is supposed to denote heat coming down from above or something?

I've cracked it . The switch turns off the internal sensors of the alarm, like if you wanted to leave a dog in the car or the windows open.
