Volvo 850

We just bought a 94 Volvo 850 turbo with a chip from a friend that takes very good care of his cares. The car has been running fine until last night. We turned the car off for 30 minutes, and when we came back the car ran very rough with almost no power. We had all we could do to get it home. It has been wet here lately. The car has 165,000 miles on it.

I also experienced something like you. My problem was with the fuel pump. The pump failed and could not deliver sufficient fuel to the fuel injection system. I hope this could help. :)

See my problem Volvo only runs when cold in this forum. I changed the fuel rack as pressure was too high. Is your catalytic converter getting hot?
