Engine Sensor Fuse

Post by NORDX »

So my 10A engine sensor fuse keeps blowing and tripping the 'check engine' light, the Volve mechanic said 19 items are powered by this one fuse and also said all items appear to be okay. We have changed the fuse to a 15A, to see if that will help and I am keeping the A/C off so that can be ruled out and the idle motor is new so we are down to 17 possible items.
Is there any way I can rig something up in order to check each item one at a time, it could be a sensor or wire shorting, etc?
Any ideas?
The car is an S40 2001

I just had the 'Check Engine' lite come on yesterday and was wondering if switching from a 10V fuse to a 15V fuse did the trick. The 'Check Engine' lite came on late last week, then went off; but now it's back and won't go away. I'd appreciate any response with a with a 'quick fix' to this annoyance.
