Hard Cold starts

Post by Frustrated 850 owner »

I just had @$1900 valve guide job done on my 1996 850 turbo w/150,000mi. Now when it sits for a while 1hr or overnite on the first start I have to crank for a long time to fire. New battery, plugs, wires, fuel filter, oil trap, wtr pump, thermostate, o2, cat, turbo all have been done in last 6 months. I have spent about $6000 on a car I only paid 5500 for 7 months ago. It truly is a money pit.
Any sugestions on the hard start?

Any codes? My bet would be the coolant temp sensor or cam position sensor.
