Sticky steering Topic is solved

I have been having problems with the steering in my 89 740 staion wagon. I have had it to several mechanics. The steering will resist pressure and then give. I feel like something is catching.

WE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH STEERING ON OUR 93 850 STEERING HANGING UP. IT!!!!!!!!! WAS THE KNUCKLE JOINT IN FRONT OF THE FIREWALL!!! REPLACE THE KNUKLE JOINT!!!!!!!!!

my 1992 940 GL sticks then gives too....how much are those knuckle joints? I also experience violent steering shaking above 65 mph...any ideas why?
