removing bumpers??? Topic is solved

hi there-

somehow or another, my daughter managed to wedge our 85 volvo so that it's stuck on the side of the garage and not going anyway. it appears that the steel bumper is what's keeping it wedged in place leading me to the conclusion that it needs to be repaired. any tips about how to get that steel thing off?? i'm a bit desperate at this point! thanks.

You're going to have a hell of a time removing the bumper if it's under any load from the car.

Front bumper or rear bumper?
Just unbolt the bumper from the shock, but do be careful if it's under load.
